The name is said to come from the tightly rolled balls of tea resembling pellets of gunpowder. When the pellets open in hot water they reveal a green and copper liquor with a deep and strong flavor. Origin: China, Steep Time: 2-3 minutes, Temperature 170-180°F, Strength: Strong.
